DTO Alumni
Tony Grandovic
Accordion / Keyboards
Tony has been playing accordion and keyboards too long for most to remember. He has written and recorded many of his own compositions, as well as compositions that were written by the other members of the DTO. His hobbies include computer archiving hard to find Slovenian style polka and waltz music. he also enjoys recording in his home studio on his MIDI and digital computer-based recording equipment. Tony is best known by the polka fans as the “guy with all the jokes”. Being of Slovenian decent, Tony could often be heard singing along with Dick Tady to the good old Slovenian button box polkas and waltzes.
- Tony was an honored member of the DTO from 19XX until he retired in 20XX
Ed Gould
Bass Guitar / Vocals
Ed began his musical journey in 1970 on the accordion and soon turned to organ and piano. Ed joined the band in late 2002 playing bass and lending his audio engineering skills both on stage and in the studio. Ed also brought publishing skills to the group as he designed all of the CD covers for the Best of the DTO series, as well as album covers for Tony Grandovic’s 2 CD releases in memory of Benzy Rathbone. Ed also recorded, mixed, mastered and co-produced Dick Tady’s Hall of Fame album “Richard Allen Michael Tady – He’s Back!”
- Ed was an honored member of the Dick Tady Orchestra from 2003 to 2015 and can still be seen filling-in with the DTO from time-to-time.
